This course covers basic software and design tools in bioprinting. Students will learn to create scaffolds and models from design to print. We will focus on the use of free and open-source programs to learn to design and customize prints for different materials. This course will include a live demo and Q&A session with the instructor.

This course covers fundamental concepts and basic techniques in cell culture, stem cells and 3D tissue culture including the use of bioreactors for growing complex tissues. Ethics in the use of cell lines and stem cells for experimental purposes will also be discussed.
